Professional Ear Care Clinic
Not at all. At Clear Ear, we use gentle micro-suction technology, which is completely safe, precise, and pain-free. You may feel a light suction sensation or mild tickling, but there is no discomfort. Our specialists ensure your treatment is comfortable from start to finish.
Most appointments take between 20 and 30 minutes. This includes an initial ear examination, the micro-suction procedure, and post-treatment aftercare advice. If you have heavy wax build-up, it may take a little longer — but you’ll leave hearing clearer right away.
It depends on your earwax production and lifestyle. On average, most people benefit from a professional cleaning every 6 to 12 months. If you use hearing aids, swim regularly, or are prone to wax build-up, more frequent visits may be recommended.
We don’t recommend inserting anything into your ears — including cotton buds or tissue. This can push wax deeper and cause irritation or even injury. Instead, use earwax-softening drops as advised by your clinician, and schedule a safe professional cleaning if you experience blockage or discomfort.
Sometimes your ears may feel slightly blocked for a day or two after wax removal as they adjust to the new air pressure. This is normal and will usually resolve on its own. However, if the sensation lasts more than a few days, contact our clinic — we’ll be happy to re-examine your ears and make sure everything’s healthy.
